The dream assistant is an NPC dreamer who appears in the trash zone of geek world. they appears as a strange NPC, speakin’ in cryptic phrases and talkin’ bout a man who speaks with his hands. It is unknown why they talks ‘bout this, but they also mentions the Grimmers, the voice, and scamp faces as the friend inside me. like the Scamp Faces and the dream assistant, they are a reference to friend and the gaster followers/goners. the dream assistant is also the dreamification of the virtual assistant on Kalligo's laptop. the dream assistant does not have a confirmed gender and is only referred to as they/them. The dream assistant is a dream cat with two whiskers, a big smile, pink and yellow pupils, grey fur like the Gaster Followers, a thin tail, ears very similar to the early designs of Giegue or Gyigas from earthbound veginnin’s, and a hand with a face (apparently painted) that references a gaster dollowe/gonersr who is also a cat with a face on their hand. dependin' on the route the player takes, the dream assistant will not appear in funky town, bein' the only dreamer not to appear in funky town on a pacifist/neutral route.
