mailer doggo is a dog-like dreamer who appears in chapter 2 as an NPC pretendin' everyone loves it. however, other dreamers simply don't know it. its based on the e-cards kalligo used to send to her friends when she was younger. when the e-card website shut down, kalligo had to make her own somehow, either usin' editing or art programs. these cards featured a strangely drawn dog, similar to a japanese or east asian doodle. It seems kalligo is a fan of asian culture. mailer doggo will thank her for reviving it and give her a card, which in the dreamer world is a real card with the same doodle-like dog drawin' she created usin' editing or art programs on her laptop. mailer doggo's pronouns are it/its since it doesn't have a specific gender. it also looks quite similar to trashy from deltarune. its official artwork It is a 3D prerendered image. in the neutral/pacifist route, mailer doggo first appears in the trash zone, exclaimin' how much everyone loves it and wishing kalligo good luck if she ever visits. mailer doggo will also appear in the kim kasino as a guest. apparently, its happy to see kalligo after so lon', and it give her one of its cards as a key item in kalligo's inventory. after removin' the needle from geek world, it appear in funky town as an NPC. mailer doggo will say its happy to be part of the town and that its have more time with kalligo. on the bat route. although its appear in the trash zone, mailer doggo will notice somethin' strange 'bout hambo and run away. however, its be recruited in funky town along with kim kueen and calliope. mailer doggo is a livin' card in the form of a dog, with light blue ears, legs, and nose, pink arms and spots, bulgin' eyes, red hair, a mouth similar to that of a muppet, a yellow body, and a tail the same colour as its body.
