Reading is Fundamental

Cham's daily job at the local library is filled with various minor annoyances, but none are more grating for a raccoon who loves reading than the seemingly impossible task of getting patrons to read a sign.

I doodled up a little comic last week during my breaks at work and decided it would be really fun to flesh it out and finish it up with some ink. I haven't done a fully physical comic like this in a little while, so this was really enjoyable and oddly cathartic to work on! It was also a lot of fun to draw Cham's various expressions.

This may or may not be based on true events ;)
Hope you all enjoy the silly non sequitur!

People are very lazy even for reading a sign. Believe me, I speak from experience. Where I live, they don't push the button of the traffic lights to cross the street.

Yikes... Yeah, people can be very short-sighted sometimes when it comes to stuff like that. I'd be so worried that they might get hit!

I'm glad that folks seem to relate to this comic so much :) I guess working with a slightly clueless public is a fairly common experience!
