Yeah, I enjoy the classic martial arts 'clash' too much to not use it here. I thinking it was especially cool on the cover of Street Fighter Alpha, but I've seen it other places as well. I also really just wanted to showcase their legwork and enjoy how the last is framed.
This page was a pain to finish up, by the way :P I spent way too long trying to fix and redraw elements, and there are still some things that I'm not the happiest with. I don't know how some artists crank pages like this out every week or even multiple times per week. Folks with that kind of workflow have a major amount of respect from me. Also, I know that I lately have tried not to post comic pages back to back, but hopefully folks don't mind. I do have some other fun stuff in the works!

I was definitely pulling some major fighting game energy for this part, so I'm happy that it makes you think of Tekken ;)

I love the dynamic sense of motion! You can really feel both legs meet in the clash ^^
