This spaceplane is serving as a specialized enger transport for the Sangheili, currently gliding over a Sanghelios mountain range.
Like the battlecruiser, the spaceplane is a very common workhorse vehicle. Designed primarily to serve as the link between warship to warship and surface, the spaceplane is also capable of interstellar travel and can take on solo missions.
Spaceplanes use adopted Sangheili gravitic manipulation technologies to allow for exhaustless thrust, using gravitational fields to push and pull themselves along.
Spaceplanes are hypermaneuverable aircraft, designed almost completely with double wedge hypersonic aerofoils and inertial dampeners. Spaceplanes have an artificial mass of 20 tonnes and a maximum acceleration of 1,000 m/s per second, allowing for advanced flight and turns even at hypersonic speeds.
Spaceplanes have a length of 100 meters, height of 10 meters, and width of 50 meters from wingtip to wingtip.
Spaceplanes have their own consciousnesses and are referred to in the Thordon class.
Spaceplanes have reconfigurable internal structures and like Thordonian warships, are supplied with subatomic factories capable of producing Thordonian constructs including vehicles and onboard weapons from raw matter in any state.
