Sanghelios, homeworld of the Sangheili, one of the first species that the Thordonians established a close relationship with. A Sangheili battlecruiser returns from a long interstellar voyage into the charted but untouched 3 dimensional territories of Thordonian space. Hundreds of kilometers away, approaching from a lower orbit around Sanghelios, a Thordon Battlecruiser gives welcome.
Sanghelios is one of the primary council worlds of the Thordonian empire. Besides the occasional low footprint Sangheili village and mandatory Thordonian megastructure its surface now remains mostly devoid of civilization as the majority of the residing Sangheili population has relocated to aerial or subterranean archology habitats, effectively preserving the pristine natural environment of Sanghelios as well as its ancient remnants of Sangheili civilization.
First dates back to the early days of clone multiversal exploration, when they still were more of flesh than machine. During those days clones acted more on emotion and instinct than solid superior logic as their base decision making system.
First was stressful, especially for the Sangheili.
Although clone technology during this time was well into Kardashev 1, they still had much to develop before they reached the modern Thordonian. They were still one of the most advanced civilizations in the milky way of this reality. Standard clone humanoid bodies were much more glorified, the base human root. They were extremely formidable, bioengineered and heavily modified with synthetic tissues, cybernetic enhancements and brain computer interfaces that outmatched even the best UNSC versions. At first the Sangheili had ill will towards the clones, mostly from old covenant ideologies of the human enemy, but Sangheili warlords and warriors alike were almost always intimidated by the clone's physical prowess. Clone bodies retained their human size, but their hydraulic muscles, motorized mobility enhancing systems, optimized cerebral tissues, BCI, and newly developed xenonite bones allowed even the most inexperienced clones to engage and win in combat against any Sangheili warrior.
But the clones wanted peace with the Sangheili, they were quite fond of their ionate culture and civilization. By this point the clones had begun becoming an imperialistic society with the first multiversal wars against xenocidal alien races. The clones felt obligated that it was their duty to protect and save every last member of the Sangheili species. Especially since old tensions from the Human-Covenant war and Schism makes the indigenous races of Humanity and Jiralhanae in this universe retain hostilities towards the Sangheili, sometimes lethal. These threats made the clones "jumpy". Often times Human interactions with clones ended with a relativistic round through a UNSC ship.
The clones had not yet perfected sociological interactions with other species of equal intelligence at the time. Up until then they have only made with biospheres that lack intelligence, civilizations that are far more advanced but do not care to interact, and hostile advanced civilizations. Therefore steps made by the clones to integrate themselves into Sangheili society were slow and small, but they kept going even with all the prejudices and mishaps.
(I will probably continue to add to this entry.)
