"It's so good to be back in saltwater. This morning I was greeted by an incredible view:
there, in the water column, a myriad of mermaids of all kinds! I even got a chance at seeing a rare one!
Asrai are very delicate beings from what we know, but we still don't know much about them anyway.
I saw some merrow kids swimming through her tentacles unharmed. I was baffled!
She looked like she didn't mind. Maybe she understood why they were hiding there?
Before I left that incredible view, I saw her looking at me for a moment, smile, and then swim onwards. So enchanting!"New week, new race! Let's introduce the rarest mermaids: the Asrai, also known as jellykin. They are gelatinous beings that can only live underwater. We have stories of poacher that went to hunt them, only to realize that if you harm them or bring them outside water they lose their shape and become a shapeless blob. with this race has been done rarely, and not even other mermaids know what they are up to. Some people speculates that the reason we have yet to know more about them is because they live in the deep ocean for most of their time. This is ed by the fact that they have only been seen alone. One thing we know though is that their tentacles are toxic, producing from a small tingling, to a harsh rash, to even near-instant death.
