A/N: Without question, my personal favorite chapter and fetish scene in the whole story, even though it’s one of the shortest. In case you couldn’t tell by now based on how often the word “smirk” has been used, I love the “cocky, overconfident character loses” angle a lot. It’s the cornerstone of both Daring and Dash for me and it grinds me how rare it is to see given just how powerful it is. So often, characters like Daring are the “perpetrator” and the “victim” is some Fluttershy-esque pushover.
As for the scene itself, this one started several years ago, first—like many of these—with a bat pony character. Over time, it was reversed: Daring was the one who encountered the thief in the wringer trap. Then, eventually, Daring herself fell victim and here we are. Of all the scenes in the story, this is the only one that perfectly resembles the original I’ve been using for well over a year, now.
Next time, we come to our climax as both Daring and Silver are confronted with possible permanent bad endings. Will they make out? Or will the Curse of Avarice claim them both?
