A 15th century occultist and alechemist, Hektor's luck ran out on a drenched night, soaked in moonlight and rain as he was amushed on the road and shanked for what little money he possessed. Soul senctened to the depths of hell, he made a bargain with his sometimes-lover Azida, a succubus: To be reborn anew to stalk the night and make evil men tremble, but not as the mortal man he once was. His body, buried at a crossroad, was brought back as a infernal hybrid of both demon and vampire. Since that night so long ago, Hektor spends his nights working as a bouncer at the bar known as the Weeping Rose, a gathering place for all kinds of supernatrual folk in the 26th century.
