Commissions CLOSED for the time being
I just received confirmation of the date for my corneal endothelial transplant (DSAEK) surgery: it will be on May 14th.
After the operation, I will need some recovery time. Once I have ed the initial medical checkups, I will know whether or not I can continue working. For now, I can only express my heartfelt gratitude for every message of and the help I have received through commissions and donations over these past months.
The surgery is very expensive, around $8,000 USD. Paying for it means I will practically have little savings left, but honestly, it is worth every penny if it allows me to finally experience better vision after 31 years of life. I am also under the Sistema de Protección Integral for transplant recipients and will be receiving some assistance.

Me acaban de confirmar la fecha para mi cirugía de trasplante endotelial de córnea (DSAEK): será el 14/5.
Después de la operación voy a necesitar un tiempo de recuperación, apenas pase los primeros controles médicos sabré si puedo continuar trabajando o no. Por el momento no puedo hacer mucho más que agradecer de corazón cada mensaje de apoyo y la ayuda que me brindaron con comisiones y donaciones en estos meses
La cirugía tiene un costo muy alto, alrededor de $8000 USD. Afrontarla significa quedarme con poco ahorro pero sinceramente vale cada centavo si eso me permite, por fin, experimentar una mejor calidad visual después de 31 años de vida. Además estoy bajo el Sistema de Protección Integral para personas trasplantadas y me estará promoviendo algo de ayuda
