It was about time that Princess Peach got an official mermaid design, and although I had done the initial sketch of this one as far back as December last year I thought I'd pick it back up for Mermay.
For the background, I did my best redrawing the tiles from the original Super Mario Bros. underwater levels by hand, specifically the stone blocks and coral, and threw in a Blooper and Cheep Cheep for a little extra detail.
