Both parents were overjoyed at the kit's resemblance to both of them - the blue coloration and forehead marking from Archer, and the hair, eyes, and species from Beatrice. They decided to name him 'Koray'.
Amber and Quinn's kid hatched just before the end of May, a month and ten days after being laid, and the first thing he did was take a small tumble out of the shell. Amber, knowing that newborn Mienfoo are resilient enough to take that kind of fall unharmed, had no compunction against giggling at the spectacle; Quinn, on the other hand, felt a pit drop in their stomach at the possibility that their kid had inherited his bad luck.
They dubbed him "Jace Mann-Yung" (resisting every urge to make a Village People reference).Koray was originally going to be named 'Florence', but then I gave that name to my Gecqua OC, and I didn't I did that until I sat down to write this.

Thats actually a smart headcannon, some part of the father gets inherited but the main species is still from the mother like in the Game. Also i cant wait for the shenanigans Amber and Quinn baby gets himself in with his dad bad luck XD "i told you he has my bad luck! But noo he just "made a small tumble" i knew It the moment i Saw him hatching from his egg!"
