Hello again, it's me, the strange art man. I'm currently working on a new Universe Comics short called "Mistakes Were Made". This short will star Samantha Holland and Bindi Krenchaw, in what is aimed to be a humorous multipage comic short about what happens when something goes wrong and causes a chain reaction, with cameos of other characters as well. When it comes to this short, I'm taking the leash off of my humor and letting the chaos fly. I have plenty of jokes in mind for this one, and for the first time, which may or may not shock a few people, after thinking it over for a while I am taking a shot at including an inflation joke. Now before the questions start flying at my face I'll go ahead and address the obvious to save everyone time;

"But ravingshadow, I thought you didn't like inflation?"; There are two sides to this coin, it's the fetish I have a strong disliking for, I do not have a problem with the inflation joke however if it is done properly. For example, my good friend GreyofPTA is very good at the joke and is currently the only cartoonist of the modern day who can get me to laugh at said joke type.

"So what does this mean for the future of your characters?"; That's still a big negative, not even as a joke will I do that to my creations for simple reasons, I don't want to see it happen to them, I don't want to think about it happening them, and I don't want to do it to them. To put it simply, I sank so much love and care into my creations that there are some things, no matter how seemingly harmless, I just don't have the heart to do to them.

"Will there be more inflation from you?"; Outside of the sections of the Universe Comics story that call for it, not unless I feel like it. Please don't try to persuade me to actively do more of it, I am a writer, I don't make content for views, I draw and write stories for those who choose to view them.

With all of that out of the way, I want to say I am actually super excited about this short and can hardly wait to release it. Unfortunately I am still drawing it right now and have only finished drawing page 1 yesterday. There is also a joke type that doesn't get used very often that was once used by GreyofPTA that inspired this short, and I may have cranked up the dial on it to the point the spring rocketed out of place in the tuner and knocked out my imaginary secretary, so to speak for this one. Thanks for always being a source of inspiration Grey, when should we start questioning life? Ha ha I joke, see you guys the next time I post something.
