I’ve wanted to create a banner for a few years now, but I didn't want to do it without a theme that truly matters to me. During my years as a teacher, Mother's Day always highlighted a recurring challenge: many of my students had difficult or painful relationships with their mothers.
For them, it was a day of sadness... but I always told those students that a "mother" isn't just a specific person—motherhood, is an act of care. Often, our "mother" can be a friend or someone who has only known you for a short time, but who truly looks out for us and worries about our well-being.
This Mother's Day, celebrate with whoever takes care of you.
