Note:
Surprisingly, many Pokémon trainers, especially newbies, aren't always prepared for the fact that their small, cute Pokémon can suddenly grow into a larger, more majestic version of itself. This happens especially often to owners of Charmander, Gible, Axew, Totodile, and the like. Vulpix is also a similar case, as after evolving, this cute little fox transforms into the majestic nine-tailed fox Ninetales, which is the subject of as many myths as the most legendary Pokémon. An unprepared trainer may become somewhat confused or even panicked after such an unexpected metamorphosis. However, despite its more intimidating appearance, Ninetales often retains its kindness, playfulness, and cuteness, merely relegating them to the background, giving way to responsibility, reasonableness, and a certain sternness. Luckily, the Pampdex program does a great job of letting these sweet foxes unleash their inner puppy.
Information:
While there are relatively few myths and superstitions surrounding Vulpix, its evolutionary form, Ninetales, possesses a whole host of them. Many see a special mystical energy in its tails, and its maximum age is believed to be over 1,000 years. Some describe it as a creepy spirit and a stern beast, while others see it as a fair judge and protector of the weak and disadvantaged. It's difficult to determine what such tales are pure lies and superstitions, and what is embellished truth. To date, all research shows that Ninetales is a normal Pokémon, loyal to its trainer and loving moderate attention. In fact, they almost completely adopt the habits and behavior of their younger form, so their behavior depends primarily on their upbringing and the environment in which they were raised. At the same time, evolution does introduce some adjustments, making Ninetales more reserved and responsible. These qualities have made this Pokémon well-suited for the Caretaker role, as individuals of this species often show a desire to care for others and are also excellent at it. Their tails are a convenient tool for play, warm hugs, feeding, or even changing diapers. Their adherence to the fire element allows them to provide warmth to any of their Babies, while their playfulness and sense of responsibility coexist in a balanced manner, making Ninetales suitable for both playfulness and responsible adulthood.
Popular reasons for participating in the program:
- Partial loss of connection between trainer and Pokémon due to the former's unreadiness for the latter's evolution.
- A desire to retain some childishness in the Pokémon.
- Adaptation of a suddenly evolved Pokémon to its new body and state.
This Pokémon tolerates the program well and completes it quickly, while simultaneously helping other participants.
Some notes taken during the Papmdex program:
- Ninetales' tails are incredible. Despite their number (nine), the Pokémon coordinates them seamlessly, achieving maximum efficiency in any task or game. While one pair is playing with another Baby, the other can gather toys or prepare a play area. Ninetales' tails also make excellent blankets, thanks to their softness and moderate heat.
- The zeal of many Ninetales to care for others is astonishing. Regardless of the Baby's size, type, or personality, they are always willing to take them under their wing, even if they are Baby themselves.
- Ninetales' favorite time is "Playtime." This Pokémon is always full of energy and enthusiasm for having fun with other program participants, regardless of the game they choose. As soon as he is allowed to get to the toys, his tails immediately takes several so that those with whom Ninetales will play have a wide selection.
