My own interpretation of the panicky Venomian pilot from Area 6 (and that appearance in Zero if you count that, but that’s kinda its own thing). Basically the same character but with the more militarized flight suit/kit I’ve got for Venom. Given his rank of lieutenant and role has a flight leader, he’d have some freedom to customize his helmet. If only to denote his rank.
During the events of the invasion of Venom, he would be shot down attempting to provide fighter cover to evacuation transports. He’d survive the incident, successfully ejecting. With Andross’ death, he would be folded into a small Venom defense force. A much smaller military, really only capable of defending the planet and nothing more. So he’d more or less remain in the same position as a flight leader.
While nervous and somewhat prone to panic, Caiman would watch out for those under his command.
