I’ve wanted to design a community banner for a while and was randomly inspired the other day. I feel like the dragon/mammal dynamic the mascots have evokes heraldic crest creature duo. Had to make the crest very wide to fit the ratio so the vision couldn’t be a typical crest composition. I think what I was able to fit in the wide ratio still gives off what I was going for in my head. My favourite part was writing furaffinity.net in the gothic script font

Wow that looks fantastic! Amazing work, really like the Welsh dragon style tongue and talons! Really has a great texture and captures the theme well! Hope we will see this on the homepage someday soon!

Thank you!! Yes i love welsh dragons. My grandparents had the Wales flag in their living room forever so i am quite attached to the dragon hehe

Yes there are no limits to how many they use or timeline on when they go back to them from what i understand. So it could still happen for sure :D I am hoping for the summer renaissance fair season I think that would be really fun
