Description:
While battles against those corrupted by the darkness comes less and less over the years, for Seifer, he is always vigilant and ready to help those in need. But there have been only a handful of times where sometimes, the opposition's strength will be far too overbearing for the wolf.
At these times, an option may present himself. He can call upon his friends, his closest companions, those that he has gained a powerful bond over many years, to not only use their connection with him, but with the mutuals he shares his friendship with. This trinity of unity unites together to bring forth the mythical blade known as The Seimei no Shan, a powerful blade rumored to have the capability to cut down Gods and Demons.
Summoning this power cannot just simply be done out of request or just casually, however. Only in an apocalyptic crisis when everyone is aware of the stakes will this blade appear.
As such, its last true appearance was more than a decade ago; Before Seifer became a wolf.
So what is it, then, that created this scenario depicted here...?
Artist Description:
I initially approached this image as a means not only to draw something for myself, along with the fact that its been a while since I drew something for my fursona, but also the fact that our household needs a bunch of tokens for Magic The Gathering. So I figured, why not draw my fursona for 1/1 Warrior Tokens?
Being inspired by Trunks from DBZ, I decided to use a pose from him as a reference as I drew this piece. Swords are somerthing my fursona rarely wield, if at all, but the only sword I could imagine him wielding is the blade in the story he's from.
Of course, as the description explains, its kinda odd for him to be wielding this blade, especially in the current timeline where things are mostly peaceful (along with the fact that the spirit of the blade has been reincarnated and is essentially and usually outside the reach of him). So this image does make me wonder about this scenario.
Will I ever write such a story?
Nah.
Will I think about it in my head and keep it locked tight in my vault of books I have in my head about this world that's existed for 25 years?
You bet your butt I will XD
