Bio

Pre Ancient Era

Yuri Knightwing was born to two very powerful figures back in the ancient times, his mother was an underworld overlord and the ruler of the City of Diz, a civilization in the very heart of the underworld. His father Adam Knightwing was an archangel and one of Arceus’ most powerful warriors along with being the blacksmith for the angelic army.
Both parents trained, raised and cared for Yuri a lot, several times when they were busy they left him in the care of a Lucario named Lapis.

Adam would train Yuri in forging and smithing, while his mother trained him to combat both angels and demons as both probably detest him for being both. They have tried several babysitters in the past, but Lapis seemed to be the only one Yuri listened too since she was able to keep up with him and his habits. More specifically flattening others, however Lapis was the only one he didn't flatten and even flattened others who would mock or male fun of her.

Given the chance she became Yuri's first love interest, however she told him that due to his heritage it was taboo to form relationships with mortals, but appreciated the thought. Once he became a Rhydon Lapis decided to journey on her own as thanks to Lapis and Camilla he was disciplined enough to not act out.
Camilla and Adam both tutored Yuri into learning the language of the gods and all matters of other languages. Adam, being a blacksmith master forever, was happy to teach Yuri how to fashion weapons and armor to aid others along with his ion for crafting.

He was the one who taught Yuri to treat your work like your own children as there is a chance a noble or malicious person may end up inhabiting it and if you care for them, then they'll get weak and lose powers since they don't want to go against their creator or father to most blacksmiths.
After years of learning everything he can understand his parents they stopped coming to the Hall of Origin much to his confusion. Lapis who was looking after him at the time doesn't know either, she encouraged him to find them as a traveling weapon monk as many wars and battles breaking out and maybe they're involved in one.

Yuri gathered up materials and supplies and decided to leave Mt. Coronet hoping he'll see Lapis again someday, he decided to take her advice and travel the lands of Hisui as she was right a war was breaking out between ancient hisui and ancient kalos, and ancient Unova.

End of the old World

Yuri enlisted as the personal blacksmith for Hisui crafting most of the army weapons and armor, however when he found out what Sandayu was plotting he decided to defect to Unova. Sandayu tried to strike him down, but the dread plate suddenly weakened, knowing he can't lay a finger on Yuri he exiled him from Hisui.
He decided to enlist with Unova instead where he met the king of Unova and even Percival, Quicksilver who fashioned a spear made out of Coroner ore and other materials.

He told Percival that the spear is meant to save the lives of the contaminated and corrupt since the war has already claimed many lives and many with lingering regrets.
Several years went by with all three sides at a stalemate so Percival decided to step down as captain of the Undella knights. Several days later, Undella village like other places got attacked by Hisui which resulted in the king's end and Sandayu took out everyone in the village, including Yuri who ended up being taken down by one of Sandayu's powerful guards.
He then continued to wipe out mankind on earth though seeing Yuri fallen felt a sharp pain in the dread plate, confused he decided to fall back and head to Kalos.

Becoming an Archangel

Yuri awoke high up in the sky seeing that he now became an angel meaning his life on earth has ended but he contributed enough to mankind to earn a place in Paradise. He met Arceus who took great interest in him, he also met Licky who was a little hesitant to make him an archangel, but he had no choice since he was recommended by a former archangel.
Yuri was granted a halo (his father's old halo) and got magnificent wings. They even made him blacksmith no. 1 for the angelic army which is one of the highest honors among blacksmiths in Paradise Arceus himself even made Yuri his personal smithy.

Yuri fashioned dozens of armor and weapons for the angelic army to combat the forces of the underworld due to a neverending power vacuum for the mortal world. Yuri was working among twelve other blacksmiths, but the majority of them went to Yuri being the greatest.
The one pamp angel who visited Yuri the most was a Samaurott named Ann Lunashell who always visited his forge to get her weapon redone, even though there wasn't much repairs for it she saw even a knick as a reason to see him.

Several decades went by and much to Yuri's surprise he saw Percival who recently became the new captain for the angelic army, Even as centuries went by Percival was happy to see him again. He had to fashion a new weapon for Percival since he left the old spear for the next generation.
Soon enough another massive battle that comes every century between Paradise and Underworld for control of the mortal realm. Thanks to Yuri’ work they managed to fend off the Underworld again. Yuri did his best not to accept praise and glory, but everyone in paradise insisted as his work was top notch more than anyone else.

Abandoning Paradise

As much as Yuri loved Paradise, he often wondered how the mortal world was doing since a little over a millennium has ed since his demise. He also found it annoying that the angelic army didn't appreciate or care about his work, even being reckless with them.
He also found the hammer given to him by Lucky not as useful, so he decided he'd craft his own hammer and a makeshift knife to go with it thus giving birth to the Earthshaker and Knightshade his prized weapons as they were made on a divine forge and a master craftsman it'll never break or rust.

Yuri attempted to scold some angels for breaking his work or overusing them without proper care. Most of the angels ignored him saying he can just repair and mend them whenever, to him that was basically insulting his work. Several other of Yuri's fellow blacksmiths told him not to overthink it and that he'll get used to it, which he didn't approve of.
When he got home he looked down at the mortal world wondering how life is these days.

He noticed a Ninetails and some other pokemon scaling Mt. Coronet overheard that if they make it to The Hall of Origins they'll get aid from the pamp gods. Yuri went to Arceus and the angelic council to aid the mortal climbing the mountain, they however refused as they left the mortal world centuries ago so that mortals can fend for themselves.
Yuri figured they could probably do it in secret, but they warned him that if he continued then he'd become fallen as he's going against Arceus' orders and Lucky telling him to return to his forge.

Yuri, outraged , decided if he was gonna be kicked out of Paradise he'd do it on his own . Lucky and Arceus and several others were horrified as Yuri tossed his halo to Lucky, and tore off his own wings becoming a reborn mortal. Lucky and the rest of the council agreed so they banished Yuri from Paradise and now that Yuri was a mortal they sent him to earth and that the scales won't be in his favor on his next demise they also sent the demon he was wearing back to the underworld.
Yuri fell from Paradise and crash landed into the Hall of Origin leaving him severely unconscious and unknowingly flattening an alola meowth with an odd tail ring.
In a daze he witnessed a Slowking toss him his halo whispering that the power of two overpowered archangels reside in it including his own godly powers. He also got Yuri a souvenir, his anvil as he dropped it on Yuri's head leaving him unconscious as he welcomed him to the new modern world.

Siwas Blacksmith

Yuri woke up several days later and he found out he was being cared for by Aya, her order and Kikyo. She saw Yuri as a beacon of light as she prayed for the gods to help her and they did in a way.
After Yuri introduced himself he asked what brought her on this pilgrimage. She said she was on a journey to talk to pamp gods to help Siwa who suffered from severe droughts regularly.
Yuri offered his services as he readied to work as he knew what to do. Everyone went to sleep as Yuri worked, he got to know Komyo who noticed the ring in his diaper and she senses demon blood as well as angel blood, Yuri not sure how he has demon blood.

Kikyo felt a divine presence and asked her if he could craft something for her to help her spirit powers, he happily would when he finished with Aya's request.
The following morning Yuri presented Aya with a bow he called TheRainBow, he demonstrated its powers as he shot arrows into a small cloud which soon caused a downpour, he also told her the more arrows shot into the clouds the more rain it’ll produce such as monsoons. Aya, super delighted, decided to try practicing with it; he also fashioned Kikyo with a spirit bow. Yuri, not sure what to do in the new world, was asked by Aya to come with her to Siwa as she feels his services could be helpful. He took her up on that offer as long as she takes proper care of the Rainbow

The duo soon returned to Siwa and Yuri was astonished as his old world was gone centuries ago, but he still has his godly powers and knowledge. He was soon met with Yami the first the current ruler of Siwa who decided to marry Aya now that she has Siwa’s hope. The new couple offered Yuri a home in Siwa, opening up his own forge for his services. Yuri accepted the offer as he now has to get used to a new world. He saw himself in the mirror noticing he doesn’t have his godly form anymore, but he can still sense divine powers within his halo. Doesn’t matter now he finally found a new home where his work and ion will be appreciated.

Raising Death and Destruction

Several years have gone by and Yuri has grown accustomed to this new era, getting to know Aya and Yami and even befriending Mona 1 and Apollo the new rulers of Siwa. Tons of guards and knights went to Yuri for his weapons and armor which brought him delight. He made all the weapons and gear for Arthur’s band of elemental knights. Yuri was also close with Arthur Quicksilver whom he found out was Percival’s descendant and even inherited the Aqua Spear and he noticed that Arthur took real good care of it, even the spear was delighted to see its father again, he even got a Swampert named Jamey as an apprentice who was eager and often left him in charge.

Several months went by and he was approached by Kikyo and this time accompanied by Spectra who senses powerful demon blood in Yuri’s system. She said she'd unleash his demon powers in exchange for helping in taking down Dark Matter for good. He agreed, yet skeptical, that he was a former archangel but doesn’t have demon blood.
They were also gonna be accompanied by the legendary team Aurafire who defeated Dark Matter before. Yuri is familiar since Dark Matter did petrify paradise centuries ago. Spectra did feel her Spooky plate acting after talking to Yuri and wonders if there’s a connection.
After meeting Aurafire they confronted Dark Matter who’s been kidnapping eggs to get a new vessel, more specifically an Yveltal egg in hopes of casting the world into the Voidlands again.

Refusing to let that happen they managed to defeat Dark Matter and Spectra turned Dark Matter into a permanent diaper ending its evil forever. She decided she’d leave the eggs to Aurafire, Yuri and Kikyo. Aurafire would take all the dragon eggs back with them, and Kikyo would take the remaining eggs. Yuri was fascinated by the Yveltal egg despite some of Dark Matter’s influence within the unborn.
Kikyo insisted she take the egg and excorise it, whereas Yuri felt like he could change the Yveltal for the better. After a very heated argument they asked Aurafire what should happen since they’ve fought Yveltal before.
Aurafire decided that Yuri should get the Yveltal since they were adopted and raised by dads and they came out just fine.

Kikyo, irritated, decided to let it go but it was Yuri’s head should something happen. Yuri thanked them and won’t let them down, he even told them about a legendary dungeon that would make them known throughout the world called Destiny Tower and that they should seek it out.
He tucked the egg down his diaper and made his way back to Siwa to care for it. As Yuri made his way back to his forge he had to keep the egg hidden as he worried what others will do to the Yveltal even if he still was an egg.
Several weeks went by and the egg hatched, seeing a newborn yveltal filled Yuri’s heart with happiness, except now he had to find a way to raise him without drawing suspicion. He made Jamey swear to never reveal this to anyone, he went to go ask some other pokemon for fatherly advice and tips while Jamey watched him, even as an infant Jamey felt a chill down his spine knowing that pokemon can end life and destroy stuff.
Yuri learned all he can and started taking the advice he took while Jamey looked after the forge. The following as Yuri was reading the infant a story, the infant was looking up at the crescent and it made him happy, Yuri decided to name him Crescent and with no parents he’d take up his name Knightwing.
Several days ed by and Yuri wanted to get Crescent looked at, but still worried so he asked Aurafire to find a Chansey he recently requested to get him a checkup. After Aurafire got him the chansey he requested, the chansey was left unsettled as she feared getting near him, but her oath had to make her do it.

Despite Crescent not having his powers yet the Chansey went in. The infant had a clean bill of health and that Yuri was doing well with raising him. This gave Yuri some relief and asked that she not tell anyone, she had no issue with keeping Crescent a secret as she fled. Jamey was a little concerned, but Yuri felt like if she revealed anything then Crescent would haunt her dreams.

Budding Archaeologist

Several years have gone by and residents began questioning strange things that've been happening at night for quite awhile now. Yuri had a feeling it was Crescent sneaking out at night causing some mischief and mayhem from the shadows and jumpscaring the night staff. Yuri was soon approached by Arthur who was requesting to have his spear reforged as he recently became a grandfather. Yuri congratulated him and Arthur pointed out the Yveltal he’s been harboring, making Yuri’s heart sink as now Crescent was a goner.
Arthur assured him that the Yveltal hasn’t done anything wrong and even his Dark and Ghost have a hard time tracking him. Arthur gave his word he’d do his best, but he should try to find Crescent a hobby or something to do as if someone else finds him he wouldn’t know what would happen.

Yuri said he would find something for Crescent to do, unknowingly Crescent overheard this and felt a little bad, he wasn’t gonna stop messing around at night, but he will try to be more alert and cautious.
As Yuri was working, he noticed trying to read the writings on his halo. Trying to pique Crescent’s curiosity he decided that he'd train and tutor him in the field of archaeology. He started telling Crescent stories about abandoned and hidden mystery dungeons in search of treasure, he even explored tons of mystery dungeons back in the ancient era filled with traps that could flatten you or even end up a diaper making Crescent glee with delight.
Yuri figured that would be a good way to keep Crescent occupied, tutor him during the day, then train him mid day so he'll be too tuckered out to go out and cause some mischief, Jame of course would have to take over when Yuri worked at the forge.

Several days went by and Crescent really did well being fluent in every language known to poke kind, can both read and write even in the ancient language from the voidlands and the ancient era Yuri was even more impressed that he managed to translate the various relics and treasures he had in his collection.Crescent did however have nightmares about Dark Matter trying to take control of him. Yuri told him not to fear, but embrace and conquer Dark Matter and hopefully make its powers his. Crescent ing these words to heart would someday face Dark Matter within his own soul, Crescent did have an odd feeling he’d gain dangerous powers if he could do that.
The following morning Yuri decided to take Crescent to his first mystery dungeon in the dragon kingdom, he also always wanted to get some dragon materials to make draconic themed armor. He left Jamey in charge while he tucked Crescent in his diaper and they traveled to the Dragon Kingdom. They soon arrived at the Dragon Kingdom and were met by a Charizard, Nicky’s son and current king of the Dragon Kingdom. The dragon king was honored to meet Yuri, who became a legendary blacksmith and offered whatever relic was in the Wyvern Den in exchange for making a weapon that would become the kingdom’s treasured weapon.


Yuri taught Crescent a lot about mystery dungeons such as looking out for traps, monster houses and rationing food and supplies in case it is a long dungeon. Crescent ‘accidentally’ set some off for a show, but Yuri saw it coming as he single handedly destroyed the spiked walls and ceilings and dried up diaper pits.
Halfway through the dungeon he let Crescent take the rest of the way, reading the walls and murals and throwing some cave pokemon into traps to set them off. Made Crescent glee having several zubat diapers and rat plushies. Yuri is impressed that Crescent can sense dangerous traps though he did tell him not to do that pokemon unless he helps bad guys and grave thieves and make sure they at least get out safely, Crescent understood as he shoved the rat plushies down his diaper while Yuri took the Zubat diapers.

Yuri was about to grab the Draco plate, but Crescent stopped him from setting off a boulder trap which Yuri was happy with as that was his final test. He asked Crescent to read it, though Crescent felt like the material was a replica. Yuri noticed that it wasn’t the real plate, but more of a replica with dragon history engraved. As they emerged Crescent hopped back in Yuri’s diaper and he made the current Dragon King a colossal sword he named The Flamescourge which would become the prized weapon of the Dragon Kingdom.
Once back at Siwa Yuri congratulated Crescent and felt like he’ll be a great explorer and archaeologist someday, Crescent was so wiped out that he went right to bed, while Yuri tried to get in touch with Lucky to pick up the plate much to his dismay.

Siwa Raid

Several years have gone by and Yuri has become well known as a legend, even those from Crown and Turtlereef go to him. Yuri’s halo began acting up giving him a bad feeling about today and started making plans out of concern.
The day came when Siwa was attacked by the Dark Gator Pirates, Yuri put his plan into action. He instructed Jamey to destroy his forge and burn all evidence of him and Crescent along with posing as him to throw others off his trail.
Yuri grabbed a cloak and grabbed Crescent who was fast asleep and ran towards the life boats while Jamey destroyed the forge. Yuri flattened and steam rolled a path to the boats, he heard an announcement about evacuating Siwa and surviving. He made it to the life boat and managed to escape, but a severe storm was also happening, Yuri worried he might get through this, took out his halo and told it to keep Crescent safe as thunderbolt struck the boat separating them.
Yuri awoke several days later on the shores of Cinnabar Island in a daze, he saw in a Crinklz newsletter that Siwa had fallen and the royal family met their end and the demise of Arthur Quicksilver. Yuri hoped Crescent was safe, decided to do some labor work around the island to make some money to go find him.

Reunion

Several years have gone by with Yuri searching all over the lands for Crescent and Yuri did hear rumors about an Yveltal being on the Mist Continent so he went there to see for himself. After arriving he heard that an Yveltal was staying at the nearby hotel, as he arrived he ran into a Grovyle named Seth Leif and noticed he had a sword he crafted long ago, The Datura Rose.
Seth told him 43 perished sometime ago and left him the rose, Seth gave Yuri the rose and it told him that Seth was a good pokemon and taking proper care of it. He asks if Seth saw the Lotus, its sibling sword, but Seth has no idea what happened to it.
Seth soon had to return to his mission, Yuri did ask if he saw a Yveltal. He was told he recently returned, but plans on heading to Turtlereef very soon so Yuri rushed to the hotel before he left.

Yuri made it to the hotel just as Crescent was about to leave, much to Yuri’s heartbreak Crescent doesn’t much, but he is happy that Crescent turned out to be a good pokemon though he does sense he took control of Dark Matter’s powers, but he uses it responsibly yet still being terrifying.
Crescent pulled out Yuri’s halo and returned to him as he revealed he had the Cursed Lance, the prized weapon of Yami the first. Yuri sensed that the weapon chose Crescent being the only one who can wield it without it affecting him. Crescent wished Yuri luck as he flew off to Turtlereef, with Crescent living his life Yuri decided to head to Pangoro as he heard they were getting ready for war and Yuri has a grudge.
As Yuri went to the ferry he noticed a bizarre bird that looked like an Yveltal Lugia hybrid named Alcryst though very timid and terrified seeing Yuri. He noticed that Alcryst had a badly damaged Crossbow, he noticed it was his work but completely different. He decided to repair it having a soft spot for Yveltal's given he raised one, he soon went to the ferry bound for Pangoro, and with Yuri having his halo back he had his archangel powers again.

Siwa War

Yuri managed to get to Pangoro and met with Aya’s descendants, Mona 2 and Hawk. Yuri insisted to enlist, Sol however knew Yuri back in the day and decided to battle him to see if he was worthy. Sol fought as hard as he could, however Yuri was far better as he flattened Sol easily with his hammer and folded him into a diaper. Mona 2 was grateful as her grandmother and mother spoke highly of him and was honored to meet him. They asked Yuri to set up a small forge and get weapons and armor ready for the war against the Dark Gators. He even met some of the survivors of the raid before Siwa fell and resharpened their weapons and prepped their armor.
Much to Yuri’s surprise he saw a Lugia carrying the Aqua Spear, the lugia introduced himself as Mercury, Arthur’s grandson who recently came back with Mona 2. Yuri identified the Aqua Spear and saw it was in bad shape, but not because of Mercury, because it was aged improperly so Yuri decided to reforge and mend it. He told Mercury to take good care of it which he promised he would and maybe someday show Mercury how to use its full potential.

That night before setting offYuri figured he’d grab a bite at Chow Claw as he heard the food was to die for. Much to Yuri’s surprise he ran into Kikyo. She mentioned that despite Crescent embracing Dark Matter he turned out to be a fine pokemon as she traveled with him during their separation. Yuri also saw Mercury and Crescent having one of their eating contests making Yuri laugh as this was what he wanted. Kikyo did tell him that others still won’t see a change in yveltals and will still fear them, but Crescent would at least be a start.
Everyone decided to turn in for the war tomorrow, Mona 2 insisted that Yuri spend the night at the palace and they could hit Siwa bright and early.

Siwa Aftermath

Several years have gone by during the war and it succeeded with Allies taking down the Dark Gator Pirates and Kroko incarcerated. Since Yuri was pretty skilled with construction he helped in rebuilding Siwa starting with his forge, he is concerned about whatever happened to Jamey, but hopes he’s ok somewhere as helped with repairs.
Yuri was approached by a Shadow Lugia named Lavender who called himself a quicksilver much to Yuri’s confusion as never knew any shadow lugias among Percival's bloodline, Lavender handed handed over a spear for Yuri to examine, much to his disappointment nothing happened to Yuri. He told Lavender no one other than could use this, but it’s power should return soon.

Once Mona 4 took the throne and everyone partied, Mona 4 asked Yuri to craft some new weapons because she wants to someday revive the elemental knights and their gonna need new gear.
Yuri soon re-opened his forge and was back in business aiding Siwa’s new army and knights and even doing a little carpentry as a side hustle. He did often see Crescent around Siwa, but despite still no memories of him he’s happy that others began warming up to him, mostly kids.
Since his forge was now bigger he started taking on more apprentices to run things, despite that he still kept a position open in case Jamey ever returned.
