As much of a car fan Euro is, there are some drawbacks. Parking, navigating narrow streets, signs in foreign languages, and even costs. So sometimes Euro would just much prefer to hop on a train and get to his next destination to explore. Where to next? Who knows? He just arrived, let’s go out and explore!
Now, when I am abroad and overseas, this is my preferred way of going from one city to another, and travel within a city itself. No need to rent a car, no need to drive. Just hop on a train and let it whisk you away to the next destination. Then when you arrive, just wander and explore. Having a high-speed rail option makes it even better, and I long for more train options (long distance and intra-city) in my home country, whether high speed or low speed.
