Listen. I made this Gunpla model for a reason, and dagnabbit! I’m going to abuse the hell out of it for ALL the Mobile Suit goodness I wanna draw!!!
I also designed a new outfit for Ren that’s non-faction oriented. Maybe she’s gone rogue. Maybe she defected because, let’s face it, Zeon eventually does some pretty gruesome things when the One-Year-War goes down. Or maybe she just left the army post war to become a merc for hire or bounty hunter. Who knows?
Whatever the case, I initially was just aiming for this to be a poster of Ren and her Mongrel. But… then I thought, What if it was night and the lighting was dramatic?
It looks much more sinister, but I’m stoked with the end result!!!
Mongrel: “This is my pilot. She is fierce. Hurt her, and I will end you!”
