well after putting it off for two months I finally started on Animalia's artery network
first up on the project was drawing out the paths of the expressway system which was laid out in much the same way as America's interstate system was laid out
only a necessary amount of expressways are built, not too many, just enough to circle all the way around the country as well as criss cross it too with some outlets to connect to their neighboring countries, Maplewood to the North, and Ja' dora to the south
but unlike the United States which started building it's interstate highway system in the 1950's, the United Tribes started building their expressway system a little earlier, starting in 1947 just two years after the end of World War II
the U.T.A built the expressway system much for the same purpose as the U.S.A built their interstate system, for national defense with the need to move troops and military hardware across the nation with swiftness and efficiency
but for motorists like any superhighway system in any country on any planet, the expressway served another purpose, providing a quicker and more convenient means to criss cross the country and to cut their journey times wherever possible, for them the expressway is the gateway to adventure, one of the things that dreams are made of and is still serving motorists living their dreams today

Nice! What speed limits are we dealing with? And all of this on the right side of the road.

OP
it's all on the right side of the road and the speed limits vary depending on the region, they'll vary between 55 mph to 75 mph, and in few areas about 80 mph
