Yes, at one point I did keychain commissions! For like $35 a pop, or maybe it was $30. Then each one would take me multiple hours to draw, ink, color, shade and get perfect... not really worth the effort but I was happy to get the commissions because it meant someone liked my art enough to want it.
I pushed through for a while, mostly 2006-07, a couple more later for friends in 2008 or 09, and then the final two (which are for me) were finished just last year! (2025) Because I already had the head shots, so why not? ;)
Would I do them again? Probably not unless I could charge more than they're actually worth. But it was a fun little gimmick for a while and gave me some valuable professional experience. ^^
