For this month's Luthien art I felt like playing with hairstyle. We don't usually see character's from the back so I don't often get to style their hair beyond whatever is going on with their bangs. I looked up various braided elven hairstyles and combined a few I liked for Luthien, and designed a pretty luna moth hairclip.
Once again I live vicariously through my character. My hair is straight, fine and has no volume, and right now its also very short because my mom got carried away last time she did my hair. I literally cannot do anything with it. I can't do fun hairstyles, I can't even do braids because there's just nothing there to work with. lol I tried to get it super long once and had it maybe mid-back before it just stopped, turns out hair length is kind of set and each hair has a set length it will grow before it dies and falls out. So, my elven princess hair dreams will have to be lived out on paper only.

(Granted, I'd probably consider all that work a bit of an opposite sort of hair-related frustration personally, but to each there own! XD)
I feel you on the hair woes, in my own way. I can't do much styling with it for a few reasons, and I sometimes consider just getting a fancy wig someday so I can pop it on and be ~elegant~
