You know it's real when the Darkscars are involved again. When Father came back to the den, something seemed to be bothering him. “What’s wrong, Father? You won!” I said. “I know I managed to drive them back. Does that really count as win?” Father said. “The Ashembers were WAY more organized than usual. That was a lot of soldiers!”“True, but the quantity doesn’t matter whenyou defeated them! So, what is the worry about,Father?” I said. “The Ashembers are persistent. They may try something like this again, but with more soldiers! How will we defeat them THEN?” He said.
“Well, we can a good ally to help us with that…” I answered. “From who?” Father said. “You really don’t know? C’mon, guess!” I said as I wagged my tail. Father thought real long. After about two wolf minutes, he finally spoke. “…I give up. Who is it, Son?”
“Well, the Darkscars, of course!” I said. “After all, the truce you made with them is still in play, right, Father?” I said. I am surprised he couldn’t actually guess. After all, HE is the one who made the truce.
“Okay, but first, who do we bring to convince them to fight with us? It can’t just be you and I, the Ashembers are near their den and we are their primary targets.” Father said. I thought about as long as Father did. “What about Multi and Cross? After all, he can be pretty persuasive… when he wants to. And Multi knows what he is doing when it comes to combat…” I said. “I’ll make sure to ask them first to see if they want to go.
“Okay! I will call this… Operation Negotiation!” Father said.
