This one's based on a true story from like ten years back. I was giving out candy at my grandparents' house in a nice neighborhood full of trick or treaters. Our porchlight wasn't working good and we had like ten types of candy all arranged in a huge bowl. When the trick or treaters came up they saw they had a selection but couldn't see the candies well enough in the dark to choose. Then this one kid dressed as an angler fish with a working nose light walked up to the crowd and plopped his light straight into the candy bowl, illuminating all the candy. All I saw then from my bird's eye view was a dozen pairs of hands snatching at the now visible loot. Best costume ever.
