Today, October 5th, I proposed to the love of my life, and she said yes! This is one of the happiest days of my life! My perfect mate is now my fiancee, and there is no one in the world I would rather spend my life with then you my shimmering obsidian, I love you now and forever!


Today is the day. The thought ran through my mind as I woke, my shimmering obsidian asleep in my arms as I stare down at her with a loving smile, nothing in the world more important than her. So as I gently get out of bed, my resolve steeled, I begin my plan.

After eating the delicious breakfast she had made for me before she fell asleep, I get to work, first going around the house and placing photos of important moments in our lives together; our first meeting, our first adventure, escaping from slavers, our first artifact, finding an ancient tome and escaping a tentacle monster. All of these photos with clues leading to a new location, until finally leading her outside.

When she arrives outside after waking and following my clues, I see her; stunningly beautiful as always, and can't help but have a nervous and excited smile as she walks up to me. Now is the time.

As she walked over I got down on one knee, I could see the confusion on her face, at least until I reach into my pocket pulling out a small box and opening it to reveal a ring, a handcrafted ring. The moment her eyes meet the ring, her hands went to her mouth as she gasped, legs shaking and tears forming in her eyes.

Then I started talking.

"Orthas, these past 6 months have been the most amazing of my entire life, the utter joy you bring me is beyond measure, you brighten my day no matter what may be happening, you are always there for me when I need you most, and you are the most amazing, sweetest, most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, a life that I want to spend the rest of with you, so my darling, my shimmering obsidian, I only have one question"

I held out the box and ring, holding it up to her while staring deep into her brilliant amethyst eyes, melting into her beautiful gaze as I ask the question I have been wanting to ask for a long time.

"Will you marry me?"

Her response made me feel lighter than air, pure joy radiating through my form.

"Of course I will, my nether star"

She answered, tears in her eyes as she tackled me to the ground, laughing and crying tears of joy as I slide the ring onto her finger.
