Vent Art: Bubba Rottweiler dislikes Halloween

I am expressing how I feel about Halloween.
The reason why I don't like Halloween -- because I am a Christian. It is traditional to not wear a costume or decorate houses for the occasion. I believe that it is wrong to celebrate such a pagan holiday.
To be honest, there are millions of people in the entire world who do not celebrate Halloween. They don't give out candy, they do not wear scary costumes, they do not add scary things to their properties, because they do not like scary things because of the transmission of customs or beliefs ed down from generations to generations, or the fact of being ed on this way.
I am one of those who don't celebrate Halloween because of my beliefs, and principles, and traditions. Not trying to force my opinions down your throats. I am just giving you a clear explanation why I don't like Halloween, so you can see things from my perspective. You understand?
You can disagree with me, I won't get offended, but you should know that we have our differences. I don't give out candy like I used to because I'm in a group home that doesn't let me give out candy, and I'm a little disappointed. Because I love to give to others. It's a good thing to give people something, especially Halloween treats, even without wearing a costume. But the group home told me that it's a group home, not a regular house, and sadly, I have to abide by their rules.
All I could do is eat the candy but they are watching my diet for me. But I'm an adult. I could take care of myself. But I'm also on disability. They are taking care of me. But their rules about candy makes me feel a little disappointed. They don't let me give. I want out.
I don't JUST eat Halloween candy, I eat other Halloween treats, like gingerbread houses for instance (the haunted house version). No, I do not decorate the gingerbread house or build them. I just slop the cookie with lots of frosting and chow chow down (get the dog joke?)
But first, I stash my goodies from my caregivers after I originally bought them, and I hide them in my bedroom and eat them in there. And then I clean up my own mess. That way, my caregiver doesn't know I have eaten the Halloween treats in my own bedroom.
So yeah, I eat Halloween sweets but I do not wear a costume or decorate houses because the group home doesn't allow that and I am a Christian that follows tradition just so you know. But if you want to celebrate Halloween, that's fine with me.
Now you might be asking, "If you don't like Halloween, why do you eat Halloween treats?" Because that's different than wearing costumes and decorating houses and giving out candy.
"Why would you give out candy if you hate Halloween?" Because I heard the quote "give to those who ask" and "trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat" or "trick-or-treat" for short. And so I give them candy while not wearing a costume and keeping the decorations off the house. And if there's no costume or scary decorations, and you're still giving candy to trick-or-treaters, then that's not a celebration. That's just doing good deeds on Halloween.
