My vulpine visitor made a comeback last night, but a raccoon and opossum arrived earlier. Still, there were a few treats left for this frisky fox.

He looks more like a Gray Fox than a Red Fox if you ask me; Gray foxes have disproportionally long tails compared to their body length; Red Foxes are usually more "balanced* with their tail/body proportions.

He's likely a two-year-old todd fox from the active den at the nursey a half mile away. He goes out exploring now. I've met red fox several times over the years here.
