Liking and subscribing also increases the chance that the algorithm will suggest my videos to other furries. I am trying to reach $500 in Patreon patrons to avoid being forced to move out (my rent was nearly doubled).
No, I have not given up on drawing or animating here, But I can no longer survive on a meager $700 a month when my barebones expenses are $1,600 or more (And that's why I'll receiving food stamps and before taxes).

Even with the new optimizations and everything, they expect you to be a viral sensation just to deserve a portion of what they make off of ad revenue.
When there are plenty of solid YouTube creators who have a very tiny following, but make a living from Patreon because those followers want to that niche content.
