Florence Records Producer 07: New Dawn (Anabel Santisteban)
Once again, this is FRM. We got a fun one here on DnB hour, welcoming a more unusual face in the Florence Records roster in the shape of New Dawn.
If the other producers stick more towards the intelligent and the atmospheric, New Dawn ushers in a new sound that's so hard to pin down. Minimalistic, crunchy, distorted yet crystal clear, and sometimes just straight up off the wall, our one takeaway on the demo reel was that there's a plethora of surprises to come in the hour. Get ready folks, we're back into unconventionally awesome territory.
Every time I draw Anabel, I ask "why". Her design is such a cluttered nightmare.
And also drawing a raised nose like this was surprisingly painless, which just makes me feel like I've done something wrong.
