“Wait—” Cress’s eyes narrowed. “This can’t be right. The map says I’m right on top of the guild… All I see is just an open field with all of these odd-looking rocks underfoot.”
“I’m not sure what is happening either—BZZT!” Byte, the Rotom in his phone, crackled in confusion.
Just beneath the Totodile’s massive foot, a certain Charmander shoved a slab of rubble aside and pulled himself out in the open. Dust clung to his scales as he stared up in awe.
“Hey! Just don’t stand there gawking! Tell him to get off of us!” Riff’s voice rang out, a Toxtricity that was now far less smug now that he was pinned under a mountainous toe.
“Heh,” Kai, the Alolan Raichu beside him, smirked. “I’m the one usually stepping on a freshly shrunken Pokémon… So this is what it’s like~”This incredible macro comic illustration was created by

After all the times Cress and Firrin have ended up shrunk, it was only a matter of time before one of them got gigantified instead.

I normally would post the story directly in the description, but this one ran over 7 pages after I scrapped the original version. So this time I decided to post them separately and try a few fun experimental things along the way.

There will definitely be more macro Cress in the future with either him looming over more micros or even finding himself towering over the world once again. I'm even considering doing a sequel to this artwork.
