Rosefiles Edward and Jonathan
Well, now that we revealed with the identity of the other rodent menace and its . It is time for us to do a new series of files of the other main cast of characters. (Do not worry i will do the same with Louies and Bombermen and Time sweepers… in the future)

As I was saying, it is time for new files to tell a new origins tales about characters in the series I am writing. That honor belongs to the Rattus (Rats) and the Mus (Mice) and what a better way to start but with the ones that are currently acting as leaders and seconds in command for Vitalic and Mortic.
This time we have Edward Cineral and Jonathan Brisby as they share a moment of brotherhood among them. (More about that later).
And because mice and rats use roses are their main aspect channel, we shall call this the Rosefiles :3
And we start with Jonathan Brisby aka Blood Rose Reaper…
A inexperienced origin
Jonathan started as many of the mice and rats in the beginning as he was born from a rose as one of the last creations of Vitalic and Mortic, before they allowed them all to procreate on their own. His original name was lost in the time as so was the name of the rat “Nicodemus’” that was his first mentor. He was born during a time of war, almost the end of the war, but that still meant even at a young age he was sent on missions even with the little experience in training that Nicodemus could offer him.
However, despite his victories and to show some potential, he was still a very inexperienced which lead to a tragic event event for a certain battlefield and resulted in the death of many species. Despite that Nicodemus and Jonathan could not dwell in that defeat… because something else terrible was about to happen as some time after that fight ensued, they witnessed and saw as how their leaders were restrained, as unlike the other Diviner Rulers, they could not be sealed away. That was the first time he ever saw Edward as he stayed in the place of restrain as he still needed to make sure the Life Force and Brink of Death energies could still flow to the universe but at the same time wait for them to find the inheritors of Life and Death.
Because of their condition from a last battle, it them time to recover and much more to travel through space and find where most of the Ratus and Mus ended…. But that also served for Nicodemus to finally properly train Jonathan for the battles and events. Until after thousands of years they finally found the place where they all ended up.
Scientific facade and new family
Upon reaching the planet called Earth, they saw they could use the species known as humans for their purpose of sharing the old power of the Rattus and Mus into this generations of rodents. He and Nicodemus had to also pretend to be part of the mice and rats that were captured by NIMH, even to the point of planning the escape into somewhere else to finally start anew as the new inheritors of Life and Death.
It was also the time when they abandoned their old names and decided to emrbace the name of Nicodemus and Jonathan. They also chose a farm place in the outskirts of the city, they decided to call the place the Rose Bush and because of their actions of both Nicodemus and Jonathan both were named as leaders for the colony. It was when they began to establish a place using new technology like electricity. He also formed a quick and long lasting friendship with Mr. Ages, a former cellmate mouse and Justin, captain of the rat guard.
However, they were not alone in such place, as during one of his foraging missions, Jonathan encountered a brown field female mouse, as they both got their eyes into a big apple. At first Jonathan was unsure what to do, but he was… enchanted of the graciousness and beauty of the brown mouse… it was the first time he ever felt at the loss of words and actions. The same applied to her, as it was the first time she ever saw such a mouse, but she felt not intimidated by him but rather was curious about him. While there was some share of words, at the time Jonathan decided to conceal the events of NIMH and his true identity for the time being…
He allowed her to have the apple and helped her carry it back to her home, it was when he noticed she lived all by herself. But she was strong and brave enough to always make it through, especially when she mentioned she needed to move from time to time especially during farming time. But she was always prepared for the best and for the worst… but more often than not, she opted to run away from various dangers. She also itted Jonathan was the first new living being she was not afraid of… but she was not sure why.
Jonathan itself was also with lack of explanation of how that mouse could rob his heart and create these new feelings on him. But he wanted to see first if he wished to also be in a relationship so he just offered her help if she ever needed it and then he returned back to the Rose Bush… . As he did, the mouse revealed her name being Elizabeth Brisby and she was thankful with Jonathan. And that was the beginning of a relationship that would bring great joy to Jonathan and a reason to live again.
A demise and a revival
As time ed, the relationship of Jonathan and Elizabeth grew to the point they finally decided to form a family together and to have children together. They ended up having 4: two boys, Martin and Timothy and two girls, Teresa and Cynthia. Jonathan never thought things would end up that way and he was really happy with the new life he formed…
However, when the plans of freeing their old leaders were finally revealed he was distraught and sad, because of the sacrifice he had to make. However, he trusted in Nicodemus words and knew that somehow he would see his family again, in that life or in the next one. Trusting on the Nicodemus and that he would give Elizabeth the amulet, the key to unlock the restrains on their leaders.
After his demise and Nicodemus, the latter explained about the way to earn a new immortality and so they had one last duel, to prove who deserved to start anew. Jonathan proved to be more capable and bested his old mentor and friend and he regained his life again… and that was when he formerly and officially met with Edward who would become his new mentor and release the leaders Vitalic and Mortic as well as finish his training and finally be bale to use roses.
It was after what happened in Earth years later and during the Sciurus’ invasion, when he and Edward began recruiting new rats and mice to , that he could finally reunite with his family and explain what was going to happen and how they would have to become the new overseers of life and death. When the recruits ed them and the Farinam world ended the planet Earth, they finally moved to their new home planet MusRattus.
Relationship with Edward
After establishing the new home and spending the first weeks adapting to the new life, Jonathan was the first one to be look upon to mentor the new rats and mice. That included his family and close friends… at first he was overwhelmed because while he received an almost complete training he had still a lot to learn, but luckily for him Vitalic and Mortic mentioned they first had to train with them in understanding the aspect they needed ro protect for both life and death and only them could teach them properly about that with Edward confirming that as everything they learned was from them as well.
That gave some time to Jonathan to prepare what kind of lessons and training he could give to others, but that was when Edward realized the problem. As when he trained Jonathan for some time he noticed he was very skilled and a fast learner, but he had to learn with others rather than Vitalic and Mortic so he still had some learning to do especially on the use of roses and the advanced forms of them. He was able to wield them but there was room for improvement.
Jonathan himself thought that he had to be up to the standards of both Vitalic and Mortic to actually teach others the ways of protecting the life and death. But Edward told him, nobody was perfect to teach about the aspects of the universe, not even Vitalic and Mortic as they would need to adapt and see the best way to do it to this modern era and how to make sure they use it properly, otherwise it could end with more traitors and more problems than solutions.
Edward told Jonathan he did not need to shoulder everything on him. He had comrades now… and now they all would share the new experiences as they would teach others together how train them, and while doing so he promised he would also train him on whatever he needed to improve.
Jonathan was grateful and he promised he would do the same, not because he wanted to keep his image of leader, but because he wished to become a good leader to make sure the cycle of life and death. With that, he knew he found a new and a new brother someone he could trust much like Nicodemus was, Edward was such a wonderful and he even offered him to someday become part of his family.
Edward accepted but they needed to give it some time as he was still a stranger for everyone. He needed to earn the trust of everyone and so did Vitalic and Mortic. Jonathan knew they could do it… and he also needed to keep training his body for the moths.
But before that Edward invited him to a little lunch before hey would start their training, it was a way to thank him for trusting him and for everything that was about to happen. With it both strengthened their bond and also kept teaching about being the apex predator and on top of food chain. Jonathan was still getting use to the fact about swallowing micros, but Edward told him a secret behind swallowing such bite size tiny ones, especially since it served an important purpose. Still the new food prepared by Remy was delicious and it would then become a thing among the rattus and mus, thanks to the rat chef. (To be revealed later)
All of this happened just before an important mission… a mission that will define the future of the Sciurus and Rattus and Mus…
