I was watching MIkeburnfire's playthrough of Fallout: London and I got to thinking about how might look in the Fallout universe. Since it spent the entirety of the Cold War divided between the Capitalist West and the Communist East, I kind of imagined that it'd still be divided between East and West up until the Great War, with both sides nuking one another into oblivion. 200 years or so later, and successor states start forming and coalescing into factions. The New Weimar Republic is sort of the NCR-esque faction, being a Post-Apocalyptic democracy modelled off of the Pre-War West German/Modern German government. I went with the 1960's uniform of West , with the M-62 Stalhelm (Basically an American M1 Helmet), uniform tunic and a chest plate inspired by the First World War body armor worn by German Stormtroopers. The gun is basically the 1960 Assault Rifle from Wolfenstein: the New Order which has also been a heavy influence on this retro-futuristic take on . If you want to read more about it, look up Fallout: Berlin on Alternatehistory.com. Note that you will need an to see it, but it's free and the website's chill.

Europe's been an interest idea for me with how it could function int he Fallout setting, especially if you factor in its history even before Great War with the Euro-Middle East War and the European Civil War that followed. Factoring that in plus +200 years worth of cultural development --- it can lead to some interesting ideas and concepts.
I'll be sure to check out Fallout: Berlin when I have the time!
