Bluemoon is a Pony Variant of Cassandra Bluemoon/Blumiere. Though she is considered an aberrant variant of Cassandra, she follows a lot of Cassandra's themes and especially Cassandra Bluemoon(Elf Cass)'s story in an abridged sense. Unlike the source of her progeny however, she doesn't lose her sister to The Abstraction like many other variants of herself as well as her existing within Equestria rather than the same planet every other Cassandra exists on within their reality which is why her story deviates as much as it does.
Bluemoon vaguely follows a bit of all of her variants themes, especially that of The Twin Moons(Elf and Wolf) in a story of plurality, identity crisis, and reconciliation of oneself.
Bluemoon is a powerful, but extremely inexperienced Unicorn which leads to her powers manifesting in a volatile manner. The nature of her magic being the way it is had been caused by a severely traumatic event in her past that she cannot even , burying a reflection of herself spawned by her magic in fear of looking within and avoiding any attempts at pursuing these lost memories. Though she kept tried to push it down, she one day hopes to reconcile with her neglected magic and the echo beneath the surface who may have an idea as to what had happened to her.
Bluemoon comes off as distant and aloof, desperately wanting to connect to others but not knowing how to as she barely understands herself. She's desperate to find a sense of self and control over her own life, feeling as though she is broken and afraid of being left behind.
