Context wise, this concept art depicts a scene where Brack and his team use one of Brack's holographic projections as a distraction, in order to fool a pair of bandits that were about to discover their hiding place. Since Brack's holograms can emit sound and can be projected remotely from his emitter, it's something that most non Dragons are often fooled by. However, it's a trick he can usually only use once or twice per encounter; as bandits are quick to determine that with any physical objects dissipates the hologram.

The scenes where they confront the bandits are interesting to see.
Eventually I'm going to these in chronological order. It's just that most of these scene were made by the art team out of order so that's how they're being ed.
(This scene was also made years later so some of the details/shading are a bit more polished).
