That morning, Nican and Zenith decided to go out early to skate on the frozen lake.

The snow in the trees hadn’t started melting yet, and the world felt like it was still stretching, still waking up.
It was just one of those mornings where everything felt simple.
Cold cheeks, warm hearts, and the quiet certainty that the day would be even better if it started together.

How this drawing reached Zenith is its own little story:
Nican didn’t just show the illustration to Zenith. He had it printed as a 1,000-piece puzzle, and gave it to Zenith all scrambled in a box.
They had to solve it together, piece by piece, not knowing what image would appear, and slowly, as the picture revealed itself: mountains, morning light, a frozen lake, and two familiar shapes that began with the eyes; Zenith realized it was a gift meant to be shared.
