Miya was born to her two non-binary parents, Theta the Kangaskhan and Miguel the Rampardos. However, her family was concerned about being able protect her in the area that they lived, which was wrought with dangerous and very aggressive Pokemon, along with other dangerous creatures. Unfortunately, her parents didn’t have much fighting experience, and they had considered putting Miya up for adoption when it became harder and harder for them to remain safe, as they also had several health complications from their environment and genetics, knowing that they might not live long enough to raise Miya.
Concerned about Miya’s development, Theta and Miguel decided to speak to a Lucario named Thorn that they had been acquainted with, one of the most skilled martial artists known in the world, having memorized and even mastered over 100 different fighting styles. While Thorn was unwilling to parent another child on top of her Riolu brother, Brand, and her little, Riolu student Flynn, Theta and Miguel begged Thorn to take Miya in if they ed away. Thorn hesitantly agreed, aware of the two’s health complications.
Miya grew very close with her parents, unsure as to why they were so gloomy most of the time. One day, while she was training with Thorn and Flynn, she had asked her powerful “aunt” what her parents had been going through that was making them so sad. Thorn decided to tell her what was going on, revealing to Miya that her parents were ill and would unable to take care of her at some point. Miya was scared for her parents, secluding herself after her training in one of the other rooms, but that was when Flynn stepped in and revealed some information that could save Miya’s parents.
The little Riolu had mentioned that he had acquired his Mega Lucario diaper named King (giving him a few teasing pats in the process while the Kangados giggled) by manipulating his aura after he had fallen into a purple, shining lake during their duel. When King confirmed Flynn’s story and reluctantly agreed to help (not that he had much of a choice), the two set off to acquire the water alone.
Thankfully, the two got lucky avoiding danger near their home and were able to successfully grab a bottle of that purple water and return home safely. Unfortunately, Thorn scolded them for leaving and told them that Miya’s parents had fallen ill and had gotten sent to the hospital after knowing that the two of them had run away from home. Devastated, Miya rushed to the hospital to see her parents, with Brand and Flynn following behind her with Thorn.
When they arrived, Theta and Miguel were in critical condition. While they were overjoyed to see Miya safe and sound, they shared with her that they didn’t think that they had long to live due to being diagnosed with a terminal illness. That’s when Flynn pulled out the strange bottle of purple liquid and suggested that the two of them drink it. While the last thing Theta and Miguel wanted was to drink a child-made potion, they did so for the sake of their happiness, holding their hands as they drank down the strange liquid and swallowed it. Flynn then began to work his magic as he focused on the aura of Miya’s parents while the Kangados silently prayed for their safety. Finally, Flynn released a pulse of Aura Sphere, which burst into blue sparkles before an incredible change began to happen to the two creatures. The Kangaskhan and Rampardos found their arms and legs intertwining, the forms becoming flat, soft, and crinkly as they felt their sickness abating. When the process was complete, all that stood in the middle of the two, empty hospital beds was a double-sided diaper, one with the surprised expressions of Miya’s parents.
While the two Riolus and the Kangados cheered at their plan working, Thorn was completely dumbfounded at what her students had just done. While she had certainly heard of Flynn talking about Diaper Transfiguration before, she hadn’t believed him when he had come to her and boasted about turning King into his pamp…though the evidence was now indisputable that the little Riolu hadn’t been imagining things, and that he was a lot stronger than she had thought.
Despite the confounded hospital staff and the surprise of other friends of Theta and Miguel, Miya now is under Thorn’s protection and is now wearing her healthy parents around her waist now that they’re always there to protect her when she needs it the most. Thorn has also become slightly less strict towards her students now that she’s been confronted with what Flynn is able to do.
Hopefully he won’t conspire with Brand and Miya to make her a diaper as well… ><

Honestly, I was trying to think of a scenario for Miya and her parents, and I’m glad I did!
