This is a picture that's been a LONG time coming. I wanted to do something for my friend 
colby-hedgey for a lot longer than I'd like to it. I've owed you, big time. So here's a little something to be a "place holder" until there's more and better art to come.
I wanted to have our characters have similar expressions and mannerisms because for the longest time, we've been watching and iring each other's art. Some of you may know that we've been inspired by each other at various points, and continue to be. Colby started watching me years ago, and now I'm learning SO much by watching them. I wanted this picture to have that meaning.
So Bogie and Colby are bouncing a ball back and forth. Bogie is absolutely THRILLED to be able to play "bounce ball" with deh baby! Bogie's always the littlest one at the orphanage, so to simply play a simple game with someone who's smaller than him is a new and extra special experience! He doesn't talk much, but here, he's just gabbing up a storm about how much fun he's having - in his own little stuttery voice. Colby is just a little bean!
Here's to you, Colby, for inspiring me and for being such a good friend. And hopefully there will be lots more of Bogie and Colby antics to come! I'm certainly planning on it!
