I finished this piece more or less right after falling out of the plane and taking the next train home so the printing will be done in time for everyone to get their cards just in time before the holidays (priority mail ftw). :)
Anyway ... Happy Holidays, everyone!
The motif is inspired by a lantern installation in Yokohama Chinatown featuring a dragon made of lanterns hovering above Chinatown's main road.
I was lucky enough to go there during the lantern festival (it lasts several months) to check out the "real deal" myself. And it certainly was a sight to behold. :)
