One of my favourite animated films from the last decade for sure. Adorable, heartfelt, sentimental and visually, quite beautiful. To top it all off, it has one of the cutest bondage scenes in recent memory, which was quite a surprise back then.

I imagine this particular scene you've drawn would've happened had Célestine not managed to help him break free before they arrived police station. It's clear these cops are not meek at using restraining devices <3

Another new character and a new movie or series discovered through your artwork is always a nice experience and through what I saw of the synopsis, a scene which might have taken place with the police wanting to make sure that there wouldn't be any last minute escape before finally being brought to the trial. Ernest at least seems to be fairly composed if looking a little worried, perhaps just concerned for the whereabouts of his hat or whether someone might make off with it.
