I’ve been in the mood to draw Fygar from Dig Dug again, so I decided to redraw their sprites, both from the title screen and in-game. And despite not being completely accurate, mainly with the in-game Fygar redraw, it turned out excellent! The in-game Fygar I’ve drawn is less accurate to how he actually looks, but it’s more so my take on his sprite, complete with arms and a second eye, as well as a belly with some ripples. I also really like how cute I made them with the additions of the eye shines I usually add to my art, which also made these redraws better, and of course the background is a simplified Dig Dug background which is also the in-game background for the first few levels.
UPDATE: Removed the ripples on the redraw of In-Game Fygar, since I felt like it looked off on the redraw.
