Between 2B and D I'm leaning towards D just a little more. Somehow my gut feeling is that the slightly brighter color just seems to work better, although that's only my opinion. C and D are equally vivid so I think that choosing between blue or yellow is just a subjective thing.
Having too much white in the eyes like for 1 or 2A doesn't stand out enough for me, and 4 is by far my least favorite option, as the huge pupils just kind of look uncanny.
Would be cool to see the other ones get the same color variation treatment as 2 though, I imagine they'd all work quite well.
