(The Fatality series is available here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFK7P1GG )
Publisher and I weren't exactly sure what to do for the Fatality series' trilogy compilation/compendium. I basically did a bunch of them with different themes, handed them over to the publisher, and told them to "Pick one." This is one of many that I made that wasn't picked in the end.
This one is based on another image I painted manually called "Trudge." It's a relatively scene-accurate image from the end of the second book 'Duality of Forces', where Fatality is fighting her siblings and bleeding out everywhere. The one difference between the pictures and that scene is that she is wearing shoes. The difference between this and the original image is this is a photo manipulation, and I was the model. I had to stand on a bunch of garbage bags in my kitchen, while my spouse photographed me dripping paint down my legs. A lot of people on social media either really liked this or really hated it. It's an incredibly unique image, but it could be misconstrued as a murder mystery or thriller which was part of the reason why did didn't pick. And, since Fatality bleeds white, this didn't necessarily come across that way. Publisher was in the latter group.
