Second and last post for a while. Just a symbolic sketch how I felt for the previous two months, where it hadn´t rained at all. While in western Austria it raines too much and too often...

Though just know that I know how you feel. It doesn't rain much for me where I live either. It only rained a couple times total over the course of two months.
Also this reminds me of the German-speaking Toilet from Dragon Ball Z Abridged...
*Whispers with in calm tone, but with a smirk* And I find it hiiilarious.
Going back a bit...I wonder if one can joke that Vlad Tepes cursed part of Austria.
I see. Fun fact: Bram Stoker originally planned for his vampire to be an Austrian noble first in an early draft of his book, in Styria to be precise. Then he heard of Vlad Tepes and transported the story to Rumania. Plus the first Vampire was supposed to be female in his book. But he kept up this idea for another short story: "Dracula´s Guest"
Huh....didn't know any of that. But at least I know it was all supposed to be full Austrian!
...Wait that actually fucking lines waaaaaay up with what I watched in the Castlevania Netflix Series. The character known as "Carmilla" which she was actually from Styria, had a council of sisters or fellow female vampires. When Dracula was felled, she wanted control via seizing Dracula's Castle which could in fact teleport anywhere in the world because of the ancient and forgotten technologies that were part of his castle. But that technology was in fact completely destroyed, rendering it a normal castle.
Carmilla wanted to expand territory and definitely showed some very great ambitions.
Her story originates from the novell "Carmilla", written by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu in 1872 and took place in Styria in Austria. She also was the first lesbian vampire in a story, for her preferred victims were girls and women.

Everything about her is really accurate to what you're telling me from the novel. Though obviously there are some liberties taken in the story - namely the harvesting of blood like wine, putting it in wine bottles and having virgin blood being the most prized (I think?). Drinking it from wine glasses. Something I don't think that Dracula ever did at all.
As for Dracula, it was only mentioned in the book, that he doesn´t drink "wine", what was used in the movie version with Bela Lugosi, a hint towards what would be otherwise in their wine glasses.
And in Stoker´s original novel, Dracula has at least a very slight gay moment, as he threw a kisshand towards Jonathan Harker, as he found out, that he was imprisoned in Transylvania castle.
Hope some of that balance can go towards the rain up there in your hometown!
Let´s hope so.
And bow we have raining/hurricane season ^ ^°
So poor Eternal, thst gotta suck
At least yesterday it rained again a little.
Both you the artist and you the cute tied up rodent.
Poor handsome rat. A certain croc would surely be cupping his hands and tilting them so as to have the bits of trickling water trickle down to Eternal's pursed lips and dehydrated tongue. He might feel the desperate laps against his palms as the rat's quench desperately needs sating. (of course, untying him would come in just a bit, maybe just 'feed' the rat a canteen first that he'd guzzle so hungrily in seconds) The ones who left him stranded like this from another one of Eternal's bad timings certainly were creative with this setup. Having him so close but just far enough away from his only source of water over a period of time. The poor dear has such a whimpering look as he pathetically struggles to reach for it. Any that happen to trickle against a whisker would make him scowl as he feels it either slide onto his (beautiful) fur directly or just drip off on the way down. Now tongue access to quench his thirst. Being left in the desert is surely doing him no favors either. If only he had the strength to pull himself from that stick in the mound. The sketch itself is still charming. What with the bushle being his only sense of 'green' and the bit of weeds in the mound for miles and as the crag before him leaves only the tiniest droplets of water available to him after it likely hasn't rained for days on his end. And he's tied in such a 'damsel in distress' position looking so helpless. He must loathe that he wore such long sleeves too! Its certainly not helping in this heat! He's so soaked in the body its visible thru his pants! He'll definitely need to be carried on horseback back to civilization...or at least the nearest watering hole, something I'd do in a heartbeat for him. (Also..his exposed chest, with how much he is sweating, makes me want to touch and rub that damp chest fur...but that is just me being stupid again. -////-)
Being fed while being bound is an act of 100% submission and vulnerability, I would say. Much appreciated.
A familiar situation for Eternal, securely bound to a pole and with his captor having been canny enough to to bind his tail, and enough cruelty to be just out of reach of the trickle of water, his hat removed and left nearby so there's no relief from the sun relentlessly beating down. Hopefully there would be someone along with a water flask and a knife, to cut him free and give him a much needed drink of water, maybe his fellow cowboy Rick or some feisty outlaw lass with a heart of gold.
Let´s hope, someone has mercy with this fuzzy ole bound rat...
