Today's the 15th anniversary of when I first saw Ponyo in theaters, so I had to draw a little something for the occasion. I decided to draw some cute fanart of her with some of her MANY younger sisters (I actually tried to count them all once and I lost track after 50, LOL). They're such minor characters in the film, but I've always loved them and their relationship with Ponyo. No resentment towards her leaving home, no forced conflict, nothing like that. Just unconditional love towards their big sister and helping her follow her dreams. ❤️
