Infernape fainted after losing an heated battle!
It was a nice and calm day in the world of Pokémon. It was a world devoid of any humans, allowing these mysterious creatures to freely fulfill their huge ion for battling one another in the wild.
Within one of the many forests, a fire and fighting-type monkey Pokémon known as an Infernape was taking a stroll when he turned to one of the openings. He saw a blue-furred, fighting-type Pokémon named Lucario performing one of his usual training stretches on a patch of grass in a wide area that was suitable for a possible battle. Infernape walked closer towards the Aura Pokémon, and the latter stopped his stretching as he felt the presence of a potential opponent. He turned to see Infernape approach him for a few seconds before he stopped to observe him from a distance. Both Pokémon gazed at each other with serious expressions for a few moments as the sound of wind blowing in the area built up the tension. Later on, Lucario chuckled under his breath as he wore a smirk on his face, narrowed his eyes, and got into his fighting stance. Infernape smiled as he followed suit as he crouched down, let out a battle cry, and got into his own stance. The two approached each other, and when they got close enough, they let loose their moves as their battle got underway!
Infernape attacked with a flurry of fire and fighting-type moves, mixing in fire-covered punches and kicks in an attempt to bring the pain to his opponent. Lucario would take a few hits here-and-there to his face and body, suffering from a few little superficial burns, but he would counteract them with moves of his own. Along with his fighting moves, he also used the power of Aura, which radiated blue energy, to deal additional damage. Infernape would take some from these moves too, but since it was early in the battle, he dodged some of them with ease.
The two Pokémon battled on for the next few minutes in the forest. While Infernape was putting up a decent battle, his opponent, Lucario, had the upper hand. As the fire-type was starting to wear down in strength, the Aura Pokémon himself realized that a victory was near. When Infernape launched a punch to his face, Lucario dodged it and quickly used a Force Palm on the fire-type’s midsection. It sent Infernape sliding back as he cried out in pain. Although he managed to stay on his feet, the force of the move, however, sent him into a dazed state. Lucario approached him, and when he got close enough, he let out a grunt as he crouched down and charged up his Aura Sphere. When it was full enough, Lucario roared as he hurled the sphere towards his dazed opponent and it hit him spot on. The sphere exploded on impact as its force sent Infernape spinning away as he screamed, “Hwaaaaaaahhh!!!”
Infernape would remain spinning midair for a few moments before he fell onto the ground on his back with a loud thud. He bounced off the grassy surface once before he came to a stop; he laid face-up on the floor on his back as he fell limp with his head lolling to the side. He clutched his stomach with his right hand, while his left arm was stretched out above him. His chest rose and fell steadily as he panted heavily. Lucario, meanwhile, got out of his stance and approached Infernape slowly, sensing his opponent would not get up straight away. Once he got close enough, he stood close beside his fallen foe and gazed downward at him for a few moments as he crossed his arms.
“You were indeed a worthy opponent, Infernape,” Lucario said with a smile, as he felt satisfied with the result of the battle. “Maybe next time you’ll be the one left standing instead of me in our next meeting…” He turned his head away, closed his eyes, and stood still for a few seconds. Eventually, he opened his eyes again and uncrossed his arms, turning and walking away from Infernape. The defeated fire-type remained unconscious as he continued laying there; he would want to remain there for a while so that he could recover and train himself further, hoping to win the next time the two Pokémon meet and battle once more.Click here for the of Service and Rules!
