Well, had a spark while I was in bed, still recovering from my broken leg. This is another story showing this bond between Seven and Dylan. Showing how Seven still struggles with his past. Though no matter what they still care for each other.
Also a couple name cameos from people I'm close with.

“Seven!! Seven!?! Where are ya dude?! Dinner is almost ready!!” Dylan stood on the back porch. The wood creaking under his heavier frame as he looks around. The sun was just setting over the horizon; the sky around the far mountains a soft orange hue while the sky overhead losing its dark blue shade and turning to a soft light blue.
Dylan looks among the trees, scanning each one before spotting an orange figure sitting on the roof of the backyard workshop. The figure staring off into the vast mountain range. Dylan smiles softly and flies up onto the roof; his Zekrom form allowing him to reach the height before, in a soft glow of light changing to his Protogen form. Swiping some of his yellow and blue hair off his visor as he walks down the roof.
Sitting down next to his sibling, he looks at him. To most, he looks like an anthropomorphic charmander. 6 feet tall, orange, flame on the tip of his tail, lizard-like features and that signature scar. The scar that starts just above his right eye and goes straight down. Straight through the eye itself, cutting it in half almost with a blood red line and finally ending just above the cheek.
Dylan looks out amongst the mountains, “I never get tired of this view. I’m so lucky to have a place like this.”
“It is a nice view. It’s a great way to just… let my thoughts flow to this kind of view.” Seven sighs, his voice that usual rough and grizzled British accent.
Dylan looks over at Seven, “Your past starting to haunt you again?”
Seven looks down at the grass below, “When does it not. It’s always there, always torturing me. Every moment I get, when I can just be in some quiet. It’s just tormenting me!”
“Hey hey, listen. I know it’s hard. You went through literal hell back then. You’ve seen unspeakable horrors and acts of the most evil kind. Most could never even think of these things and you lived them. Those memories are engraved in your mind… but that’s the past. You can’t keep letting it cloud your every thought.” Dylan clenches his fist, a look of determination on his visor.
Seven stands up and takes a step back, looking down at Dylan, “You make it sound so easy!! It’s not! I have to live every damn day haunted by so many things!!” He clutches the side of his head, “Live with the fact I was made for war from my very first cell’s creation… my family killed in front of me… my sister killing me… having to then kill my sister…” Seven’s eyes widen as his voice grows shaky, “And that fucking void… when I was sent there… after I died… I could feel it staring at me! From every angle! The void… it was alive… and I took its deal… I can’t die… I never can for many millennia…”
Dylan looks down, “I know… but… you aren’t alone anymore.” He slowly stands up, resting a hand on Seven’s shoulder, “So many of us care about you. I can name so many. So many that are willing to be by your side until we perish. Not only that I care so much about you. You’re my brother, and nothing will change that fact!”
Tears roll down Seven’s face, “But what of Samantha!? My mom and dad!? They’re gone!! Not only that, we aren't even related by blood!! How can you still say that we are!?”
Dylan starts to tear up some, “BECAUSE DAMN IT I DO GIVE A SHIT!!! For so long I never had a family to begin with!! But… then Key stepped into the picture then more and more friends came into my life. Then I met Repede… after that… I had a family… not by blood… but by bond. Not all of them I’ve met, nor forged a close relationship with. But there’s that sense of connection. Sure everyone has moments. We disagree, we fight but… we never stop being there for one another. Without any of them… Key, Repede, even some like Kasai or Ryan… without them and many others… I doubt I’d be here today. Seven… you mean just as much to me as them. No… more. You’re my brother through and through! I saw that… I saw that at the Starlight Festival.”
Seven falls to his knees, “How… I… I’m a monster…”
“That may be true…” Dylan goes down on one knee, his hand back on Seven’s shoulder, “But you are a monster I care about. A monster that no matter the day I will always call my brother, and… I wanna see that side. The side I saw at the Starlight Festival. That DJ, that artist that makes so many others happy with their music. The one who can’t help but dance and enjoy the moment. Seeing you happy was such a sight. So don’t let your past cloud today, instead look towards your future. I know it’s bright. You and I both know it. Now come here.”
Seven falls forward into Dylan’s arms. Wide open as they wrap him. Tears streaming down his face as his face rests in Dylan’s chest fluff. Dylan smiles softly, “You aren’t alone, as long as I live. I promise… Brothers to the end?”
Seven lifts his head, looking into Dylan’s eyes and wiping away tears, “Brothers to the end…”
Dylan smiles softly as he stands up, “There’s the Seven I know. Now come on Ryan is making dinner. His cooking up some tacos!”
Seven wipes away the last few tears as he chuckles softly, standing up next to Dylan, “Always thinking with your stomach, fatass…”
“Glad to have ya back, meet ya in the dining room.” Dylan nudges him softly and hops off the roof. Strolling inside.
Seven smiles and looks out across the mountains one last time before fixating on the back door, “Better not eat everything before I get there!” Before finally hopping down and chasing after Dylan.
