Visiting all the family.
We had a nice day for the funeral, not too hot and the rain (which is sorely needed in the Pittsburgh area) held off until well after the ceremony. My cousin put together a wonderful lunch. All in all I think my sister would have had a good time if she were there.
This is the Markle part of our plot. On the left is Capt. Cassius Markle, Commander of Company E, 105th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry - 1861 to 1864. We have had family serving in every conflict the U.S. has ever been involved in. Someday I hope that streak will end for everyone.

My condolences for your loss.
And definitely appreciating the rain when it comes here! =^^=
And this is the 'new' cemetery. :)
My condolences on the loss. I know it's painful to lose a family member.
My brother was remarking on how unusual it is to have so many branches of the family all in one place. We used to have picnics there when I was a kid. It's gotten bigger since then, but it's still our place on the river.
It's a shame families can't get together the same way during happier times. Fortunately, mine has a reunion every summer.
This would be right at home in the /Cemeteryporn subreddit. That’s a great photo!
I had to immediately go and check r/Cemeteryporn, yep, there’s a subreddit for just about everything.
