Vaphi the Toa of Sonics and Team Engineer.
Vaphi is quiet and introverted which is typical with Toa of Sound, they don't like being in places that are very loud because he can hear everything a mile, but he tends to open up in more personal spaces with close friends. Vaphi and Whakatau tend to get along most often as introverts with specific interests:
Whakatau likes to experiment with plants trying to create new breeds and is working on a goal breeding a super spicy pepper and create Pepper-spray which he has named "Makuta's Piss" as a play on "Devil's Piss"
Vaphi on the other hand is an engineer and is working on a broken down Bohrok husk to make a customized Bohrok companion to help them in battle. He also has used his engineering skills to upgrade the team's armor and equipment.
Whaka and Vaphi also created a running gag together when Vaphi's player misspoke when referring to a Dark Hunter called "Savage" and accidentally called him "Salvage" starting the ball rolling where Whaka and Vaphi would go back and forth mes Savage's name intentionally with alternate S words:
Salsa, Salmon, Surface, Sandwich, Sewage, etc...
Vaphi wears the Kanohi Mask of Biomechanics that gives Vaphi the power to mentally interface with machinery. While interfaced, a wearer of this mask could directly influence the actions of the machinery, depending on how far they were from the target, and the complexity of the technology. However, s could not control the mechanical parts of other beings without their consent, but it was possible to slow them down somewhat. Additionally, this Kanohi increased the mechanical strength of the wearer to a small degree, but it did not improve their organic parts.
Rather than carrying conventional weapons, Vaphi has small wrist-mounted elemental Blaster and Shield that are not initially visible on his person, instead he carries tools for utility purposes outside if direct combat.
